CEAGESP, Sao Paulo

This first fruit is a Jacque fruit. I have never seen it! It is huge. The inside pulls apart easily in pieces and has a pit. The taste has the sweetness of a banana, a bit of citrus....


(above) Pineapple - they use a hay weave to truck them.

Above - This a cashew (look carefully at the stem). They call it caju. You can use the pepper looking part for pressing into a juice.



Above - Carts that market workers use to gather the items they are purchasing.




Above - I am still trying to find the name of this fruit...They compared it to a cucumber but sweet?
